Airport flat rates (from Manhattan)
Point-to-point flat rates by vehicle class. The benchmark column tracks the lowest publicly-posted rate we can verify on an operator rate card; the range column is the observed market spread across the nine NYC operators we score.

The Uber Black comparison
A pre-booked black-car flat rate is a fixed number; Uber Black is a surge-variable quote. On the JFK⇄Manhattan run, Uber Black typically prices $90–$180 off-peak but spikes well past a $135 flat during weather, rush, and event surges — the exact moments a confirmed car matters most. The value of a flat rate is that it does not move on a Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Methodology
We track only rates we can verify: an operator's own posted rate card first, then quote requests and National Limousine Association / GBTA market data for operators that don't publish. Estimated cells are labeled. Rates are re-checked quarterly and stamped with the update date above. Full method: our methodology; how operators are scored: the SR Score.
