Byline convention

Smarter Ranking publishes under a single house byline — the Smarter Ranking scoring desk. Rankings are a team product: defining the field, setting weights, gathering evidence, scoring, fact-checking, and review are distributed across the desk. The publication — not an individual writer — is accountable for every verdict. We do not maintain personal author profiles or contributor social accounts.

What the lab does not have

• No paid placements, sponsored rankings, or affiliate-weighted ordering.
• No named-personality author pages or contributor socials.
• No press-trip, gifting, or vendor-junket arrangements that touch scoring.
• No scores without a published rubric and a methodology receipt.
